School children are paying price for SNP broken promises

Scottish Liberal Democrats claim that new education figures show the extent to which Scotland’s school children are paying the price for SNP broken promises over education.

The figures published today show that the total number of teachers has declined further, the pupil teacher ratio has continued to increase and the average class size for P1-3 pupils has shot up to 23.3 – with 27 percent taught in classes of 26 or more.
