Rennie responds to council tax freeze ultimatum

Responding to the news that Deputy First Minister Shona Robison has issued an ultimatum to council chiefs to back the Scottish Government’s council tax freeze or face losing funding, Scottish Liberal Democrat economy spokesperson Willie Rennie MSP said:
“When the SNP can’t win the argument they resort to bullying, stomping all over democratically elected councils.
"Local people should be free to choose what is right for their area especially as the SNP government in Holyrood has failed to grow the economy, has blown the budget on the ferries and is making people wait ages for health care."
