Daniel Khan-O'Malley
Spokesperson for Transport
Daniel was raised in Glasgow, the city runs through his veins, and now happily living in the cities' west end. He is a passionate Liberal who has lead the fights for rights of people across Scotland. He stood for Glasgow North in the 2024 general election fighting for a fair deal for Glasgow, and knows what issues matter to the residents of our great city. Whether that be lack of funding given to councils to fund local services such as bin collections to the long waiting lists in our NHS.
Daniel is an experienced political campaigner and is committed to fighting for the rights of people across Scotland. Over his career, Daniel has worked at the forefront of politics in Scotland and the United Kingdom. He has worked in both political offices helping constituents with issues facing them and on political campaigns.
He worked at the University of Glasgow as a researcher and teaching assistant in political science. Next, he moved to the John Smith Centre which promotes trust in politics, politicians, and political institutions by providing young people from underrepresented communities internships in the Scottish Parliament and Third Sector.
In recent years, Daniel has advocated for people living with diabetes in Scotland and fighting for refugees.
He is committed to standing up for those whose voices are not always heard in our country.
