Christine Jardine

Christine was first elected as the Member of Parliament for Edinburgh West in 2017 and is the Liberal Democrat Spokesperson for Scotland, Women and Equalities and the Cabinet Office.

Before entering politics, Christine was a journalist and broadcaster.

She has written for the Scotsman, worked for the BBC and was editor of the Press Association in Scotland.

Christine taught both post and undergraduate students at the University of the West of Scotland, having previously run the postgraduate practical journalism course at the Scottish Centre for Journalism Studies.
