Teacher numbers have fallen on SNP's watch

Commenting on new figures showing the number of teachers falling since the SNP came to power, Scottish Liberal Democrat education spokesperson Willie Rennie said:
“The First Minister’s defining mission has transformed into a defining failure.
"After 15 years in power Scottish schools have been stripped of well qualified teachers just at a time when we need more to recover from the pandemic.”
