Scottish Liberal Democrats respond to independence paper on culture

Responding to the publication of the Scottish Government’s latest paper on independence, this time on culture, Scottish Liberal Democrat culture spokesperson Neil Alexander said:

“It's clear from the Covid Inquiry this week that the only culture the SNP know about is one of secrecy.

“The nationalists have perpetrated acts of cultural vandalism, slashing the funding of the chief culture body, Creative Scotland, by a brutal 10%.

“The SNP need to stop wasting everyone’s time, money and trees with papers that cover up their own failures.”
