Scottish Lib Dems respond to A96 consultation

Responding to the Scottish Government publishing the outcomes of their consultation on the A96, Scottish Liberal Democrat candidate for Inverness & Nairn Neil Alexander said:
“We are now at a point where people want to see diggers, not more documents.
“It’s almost two decades since the SNP came to power pledging action to improve trunk roads in the North and North East, yet next to nothing has happened.
"They still haven't given a date for building the Nain bypass, which is fast becoming yet another broken SNP promise.
“As a long-term campaigner for road safety, I want better for our Highland communities than missed targets and deadlines. The Scottish Government need to step up and upgrade our roads as a matter of urgency."
