Scot Lib Dems comment on Ross fracas

Responding to this evening’s fracas involving Douglas Ross, Scottish liberal Democrat leader Alex Cole-Hamilton said:

“The Scottish Parliament may have had more scandalous politicians but I am struggling to think of one so petty and embarrassing. I hope that this will be one final moment in the spotlight before he fades from public life for good.

“There are certainly issues on which Alison Johnstone and I will never agree but I have no concerns about how she conducts parliamentary business and she has my full support in this matter.

“I think Russell Findlay should kick Douglas Ross out of the Scottish Conservatives. He’s an embarrassment to his party and to the Parliament.”
