Rennie responds to Sturgeon picket line picture

Responding to Nicola Sturgeon being pictured with a picket line of Unison members outside the Royal Mile Primary School, Edinburgh, Scottish Liberal Democrat Education spokesperson Willie Rennie said:

"This must be ultimate demonstration that talk is cheap.

"When she was First Minister Nicola Sturgeon cut money from local government and left pay deals to the last possible second. She is as culpable for the disruption being experienced by teachers, parents and pupils as anyone is.

"Perhaps now that she has decided she is on the side of striking workers, she could go back to Humza Yousaf and ask him to strike a fair deal."
