Rennie responds to former Scottish Government adviser dismantling independence claims

Responding to a Scotonomics event completely backfiring after a high-profile former Scottish Government economic adviser dismantled SNP claims on independence and told delegates that nationalists “can’t really say that Brexit is the worst thing ever, and then commit the biggest Brexit of all time,” Scottish Liberal Democrat economy spokesperson Willie Rennie MSP said:  

“It’s bad enough for the SNP that their economic case for independence has been demolished by a leading academic but for it to be demolished by a leading academic that the SNP leadership endorsed is devastating.  

“Now even the SNP’s leading economic adviser says their economic case for independence is fantasy, dead and s***.”
