Operations activity 10% lower than pre-pandemic

Responding to figures which reveal that, in the last 12 months, operations activity remains 10.4% lower than pre-pandemic levels, Scottish Liberal Democrat leader Alex Cole-Hamilton MSP said:

“The SNP cannot be trusted to get the NHS back on its feet after the pandemic.

“Staff are stretched to breaking point and patients are waiting in pain.

“Countless SNP health secretaries have promised the earth for our NHS but delivered next to nothing.

“Scottish Liberal Democrats are all about getting people the care they need, when they need it. In May, you can vote for that by backing us on your second, peach-coloured ballot paper.”
