MacCallum responds to homelessness report

Responding to Crisis' embargoed homelessness report, Scottish Liberal Democrat housing spokesperson Morven-May MacCallum MSP said:

“Around a thousand people will sleep rough in Scotland tonight, but the number could be halved in this parliament if the Scottish Government makes use of the powers at its disposal.

“The government says that it's responding to Scotland’s housing emergency, but they are woefully behind their own targets.

“We set out big plans in our manifesto to tackle this crisis once and for all. The SNP should be open to those calls and replace their housing strategy with one that recognises the starkness of the challenges we face.”
