John Swinney is all over the place on tax

Responding to John Swinney's confusion over tax policy, Scottish Liberal Democrat economy spokesperson Jamie Greene MSP said:

“John Swinney is all over the place, he can’t be straight with the public as to whether he wants to hike tax for hard pressed families or not.

“Thanks to the SNP’s disastrous mismanagement of the public purse, Scotland is looking at a £5 billion gap between what the government spends and what it makes. Now it looks like they might make everyone else clean up the mess they made.

“People deserve better than this Labour / SNP combo nightmare, they need a government that can be trusted with their money."
