Jardine responds to ‘crushing’ defeat of Alba IndyRef Bill

Commenting after a fresh attempt by the Alba Party to pave the way for another independence referendum was voted down, Liberal Democrat Scottish affairs spokesperson Christine Jardine MP said:  

“The nationalists need to stop wasting everyone’s time and stop grievance-mongering. They care more about independence than they do your job, your health or your children's education.

“People are sick of nationalists that talk to themselves rather than putting the public services people rely on first. Scottish Liberal Democrats are determined to play our part in the change that Scotland so desperately needs.”
