Harley responds to delayed launch of NHS app

Responding to the SNP government’s launch of its new NHS app, Scottish Liberal Democrat health spokesperson Adam Harley MSP said:

“I am pleased this app is finally being rolled out but patients have been waiting far too long to get to this stage, and it will be another four years until it is fully rolled out.

“Patients in England have been able to book appointments, order prescriptions and see their medical records on an equivalent app since 2019.

“My party will continue to press the government for serious and well-planned investment in our NHS, bringing it into the 21st century and ensuring it delivers for patients and staff.”
