Greene comments on embargoed IFS analysis

Responding to the embargoed IFS analysis, which finds that performance in Scotland's health service, schools and courts remains substantially poorer than before the pandemic, Scottish Liberal Democrat economy spokesperson Jamie Greene MSP said:

“After nineteen years, the SNP have left our public services high and dry.

“Their fingerprints of failure are all over our NHS, our schools and the state of our justice system

“People are fed up with the SNP blowing hundreds of millions on epically delayed and overbudget ferries. They are fed up with the SNP then hiking taxes and leaving ordinary, hardworking Scots to clean up the mess.

“Scotland deserves change with fairness at its heart, which is what you get by backing the Scottish Liberal Democrats.”
