Carmichael responds to more SNP bickering

Responding to comments made by the SNP’s president, Mike Russell, on BBC Radio’s Good Morning Scotland programme, as he described the defection of Lisa Cameron to the Conservative party an “odd tantrum,” Liberal Democrat Alistair Carmichael MP said: 

“SNP division grows deeper by the day.

“This stalemate of internal bickering has left the nationalists totally unable to put the issues that matter first. 

“Up and down the country, Liberal Democrats are on the rise, crackling with ideas for how to cut household bills, drive down waits for NHS treatment and compensate islanders for a ferry scandal that has blighted communities.”
