I have had a curiosity for politics from a young age, standing out with my political opinions and knowledge. Living in Central Scotland, my interest in supporting others has always been important. The idea of having a role within the political sphere enticed me, and enhanced my desire to help local communities, leading me to become a Casework Officer within the Scottish Parliament.
My passions include improving the lives of those with chronic illnesses, representing the younger generation, advocating for carer’s support and championing women. In my personal life, I am a former dancer, competing at national level for many years. Currently, I volunteer within the West Edinburgh Liberal Democrats, sitting on the Executive Board as Membership Secretary and Social Committee Chair, and I am an active campaigner for my local area. I also support Marie Curie Cancer Care and Crohn's and Colitis UK in a number of ways; charities that both hold a special place in my heart.
