Elaine Ford
Candidate for Central Ayrshire
Elaine has lived and worked in Scotland since 1987 and has been a member of the Scottish Liberal Democrats since 2015. Elaine has worked in education for the past 22 years as a student welfare manager. Previously she worked for a national heritage charity and fine art auctioneer.
She is also the safeguarding officer for her local church. Elaine wants to see a fairer deal for all our communities, especially in mental health support for the young and the provisional of more affordable and social housing. In her spare time, Elaine enjoys photography, cycling and baking, and is studying for a BA (Hons) Art and Humanities Degree (Creative Writing) with the Open University.
