Ben Munnoch
Candidate for Uddingston and Bellshill
Ben Munnoch is the Scottish Liberal Democrat candidate for Uddingston and Bellshill, campaigning for change with fairness at its heart.
Ben currently works in the telecommunications sector, after many years working in the public sector, and most recently as a Communications and Parliamentary Affairs Advisor. Ben was key in forming the Cross-Party Group on Ice Sports, working across the political spectrum to champion ice sports.
Ben has worked on, and championed a variety of issues, including; health, energy, net zero, foreign policy, defence, social issues, health, LGBT rights, local government, and sports, especially ice sports.
Ben is an alumni of the University of Stirling with a Bachelor of Arts, with Honours, in Journalism Studies and Politics.
Ben has also fundraised for a cancer charity, based in Central Scotland, which offers support to those living with cancer, and those affected by cancer.
