If I started talking about life after Brexit people might think that even I think it is unstoppable, inevitable, irreversible.
So that is not what I will address this evening.

The Budget, as presented by the Scottish Finance Secretary Derek Mackay yesterday, recites a long list of the problems and crises facing Scotland. But it doesn’t take sufficient substantive action on any of them.
That means the budget is a missed opportunity.
