Purpose of the Job
A rare and exciting opportunity has arisen to work for the Liberal Democrats in the Scottish Highlands, the most picturesque and peaceful part of the UK.
This is an ideal position for someone who has experience of managing volunteers or who wants experience in working in politics and campaigns.
Caithness, Sutherland and Easter Ross is one of the most marginal constituencies in the UK, with Liberal Democrat Jamie Stone being elected MP by just 204 votes and the Liberal Democrats narrowly missing out on gaining the corresponding Scottish Parliament constituency in 2021.
As Volunteer Manager you will play a leading role in delivering the campaigns we need to secure the re-election of Jamie Stone MP, gaining the Scottish Parliament constituency and securing the election of a Liberal Democrat Councillor in every ward in the seat.
