The last thing we want from Education Scotland is business as usual.

Responding to comments from Patricia Watson, strategic director at Education Scotland in which she described the next two years as “business as usual at Education Scotland” despite ongoing proposals for reform and said that the body was making “good progress” in improving education, Scottish Liberal Democrat education spokesperson Willie Rennie said:

"The last thing we want from Education Scotland is business as usual.

"The bodies governing Scottish education need to be rebuilt from the ground up with teachers at the helm, not the same leadership that has failed time and time again.

"If it's the same body with a new logo then pupils and teachers will have been badly let down again.”
