Scottish Liberal Democrats have today announced that their Spring Conference will take place at the Hamilton Town House on 22nd - 23rd February 2019.
The two day event will see delegates from across Scotland descend on the town to debate policy and hear speeches from speakers including party leader Willie Rennie.
Scottish Liberal Democrat leader Willie Rennie said:
“I’m delighted that the next Scottish Liberal Democrat conference will be taking place in Hamilton.
“People are demanding better than an unimaginative SNP Government on the slide and a Conservative party fatally riven over Brexit. This is a chance for us to make an impact in Central Scotland and show people what the Liberal Democrats have to offer.
“After a successful conference in Dunfermline, we cannot wait to see what Hamilton has in store for us!”
Conference committee chair Paul McGarry said:
“If it is anything like our Autumn Conference, we can promise a full weekend of exciting policy debate, fringes, and exhibitions.
“From exposing the Scottish Government’s shoddy handling of education to leading the way on mental health care, the Scottish Liberal Democrats are really punching above our weight.
“This conference will be a fantastic opportunity to show the public that we are committed to building a better Scotland.”
