Speaking on the campaign trail in St Andrews today in response to Jeremy Corbyn’s admission that he won’t back remain, Scottish Liberal Democrat Leader Willie Rennie said:
“Jeremy Corbyn has now made sitting on the fence his official position.
“It’s unbelievable that he thinks as Prime Minister he can get away without having an opinion on the national crisis of our time.
“Voters deserve to know what he thinks if he wants to run this country. Remain voters, who have voted for the Labour Party before, will rightly feel let down down this morning.
“The Liberal Democrats are the home of remain. Labour cannot be trusted. Anyone who wants to put this constitutional chaos to bed needs to join our fight for a brighter future.”
