Lib Dems want to break the Brexit deadlock

Responding to comments from Brexit Secretary Mike Russell as the First Minster meets with officials from the UK Government, Scottish Liberal Democrat leader Willie Rennie said:

"Scottish Liberal Democrats have put forward a number of solutions to break the deadlock. We have called for a proper dispute resolution mechanism and laid out plans for a cross-party and cross-parliament liaison committee.

"Sadly the Conservatives and the SNP are united in their intransigent attitude. Digging in and doubling down is an insult to the people of Scotland who want their politicians to work out a common sense route through this stalemate."
