Here are the training opportunities for members attending Spring Conference 2018 in Aviemore on Friday 20th and Saturday 21st April.

Taking you through a live demonstration, you will be able to learn how to get the most out of Salesforce for your local party. This is an important session for all local party Treasurers, Membership Development Officers and Data Officers.

Sanjay Samani (GDPR Project Manager) will explain what you need to know about the new Data Protection Regulations coming in May. These regulations will change the way everyone in the Liberal Democrats collects and handles data. This is an important session for all local party officers and campaigners.
How to Run a Local Party
Rachel Palma Randle (Director for People) and Will Dyer (Membership Development Manager) will provide you with a guide to the roles of a Local Party Executive, and training on how to run exciting and dynamic executives which drive mobilization and campaigning in your local area.
It’s Not Scary, It’s just Money
Sue Evans (Fundraising) will be training on fundraising techniques for First-Timers and New Candidates.
How to Recruit Members
Greg Foster (Head of Membership) and Rachel Palma Randle (Director for People) will discuss the challenges facing local recruitment and will help you build a bespoke plan for your Local Party.
Key Campaigners – Invite Only
Paul Moat (Head of Campaigns for Scotland) will be inviting key campaigners around Scotland to come along and discuss their ideas, and gain some new knowledge.
