Scottish Liberal Democrat leader Willie Rennie will tomorrow be up in the highlands as part of the general election.
The Liberal Democrats have set their sights on winning the Highlands to save it from the SNP. On a visit to the region in the first week of campaignimg Willie Rennie will say that the Party is best placed save the Highlands from the SNP, their plans for independence and their centralising agenda.
Mr Rennie said:
“Liberal Democrats are only a few thousand votes short of winning back the Highlands so if people want change they should back the Liberal Democrats. The Highlands is a straight choice between the Liberal Democrats and the SNP. No other result is possible.
“The Highlands has been short-changed and stripped of powers by the SNP as they obsess about another independence referendum. Now is our chance to save the Highlands from the SNP."
