Responding to Theresa May's press conference and the day's Brexit developments, Scottish Liberal Democrat leader Willie Rennie said:
"The Prime Minister has now dedicated two years to trying to unify her Cabinet, her party and the Commons over Brexit. But the reality is that’s just not possible. Nothing she can offer is as good as remaining in the EU.
"Meanwhile the Scottish Conservatives have abandoned their line in the sand. They are hopeless representatives of Scotland.
"The public and increasing numbers of parliamentarians can see that the only way out of this logjam is a People's Vote."
