Stephen Glenn

About
Stephen has lived in West Lothian since 2001 moving to Bathgate in 2006. He is delighted to have once again been chosen to represent Linlithgow and East Falkirk in the area he has spent longer in than anywhere else in his adult life.
Stephen is a strong local voice and has been standing up for shopkeepers, local transport provision, St. John’s Hospital and environmental concerns. He is fully aware of the stresses many local workers are facing with job insecurity or loses and Labour’s tax policies leaving them worse off. He fully supports Nick Clegg and Vince Cable’s plans to bring in fairer taxation and a fair, sustainable, green economic recovery.
Stephen stood in Linlithgow and East Falkirk in 2005 increasing the share of the vote by over 5% and has been holding the MP to account on behalf of those who voted for him then ever since.
Stephen studied Economics at Kingston University, before going on to work in retail, the Northern Irish Civil Service, a children’s charity and now in a call centre in Edinburgh where he is a global data analyst for one of the companies key clients.
Stephen is currently single but has recently shared his love of chess with his elder nephew. In his spare time he bowls at a local club, watches Livingston start to climb up the football leagues once again and writes his political blog.

Currently works as a data analyst in the Edinburgh site of a global call centre business. Formerly a Civil Servant, Retail Jeweller and Boys Brigade officer.
