Graeme has lived at the foot of the Ochil hills for over twenty years. Brought up in the Pool of Muckhart, he attended the local primary school and Alva Academy where he was Head Boy.
Like many young people, Graeme left Ochil and South Perthshire to seek further education and employment opportunities. After graduating with a Masters in International Relations from the University of St Andrews he moved to Manchester and got some real world experience running a busy city centre bar.
Graeme now lives in Edinburgh and works for Liberal Democrat MEP for Scotland George Lyon.
With family still living throughout the constituency, Graeme is only too aware of the challenges that must be faced. Whether it is a lack of NHS dentists, employment opportunities or activities to keep young people off the streets, successive politicians have promised much but delivered little.
Graeme will work hard to reverse this legacy and ensure that Ochil and South Perthshire goes from strength to strength.
