Commenting ahead of tomorrow’s debate in the Scottish parliament on the independent budget review, Liberal Democrat Finance spokesperson Jeremy Purvis MSP said:

“It is frankly unacceptable for John Swinney to embark on a series of ‘national conversation’ events to criticize the Westminster Government, when his own Government in refusing to publish to its policy choices on its own budget.

“Where we need leadership we, quite frankly, get tactical politicking from the SNP.”
