Jo Swinson MP has welcomed the Coalition Government’s National Insurance Holiday as a “boost for business” in East Dunbartonshire.
Starting this week, new businesses setting up in East Dunbartonshire will benefit from savings of up to £5000 for each of their first ten employees, thanks to a regional National Insurance Holiday introduced by the Coalition Government.
Commenting, Jo Swinson said:
“The Holiday will be a huge boost for business in East Dunbartonshire. It will give a helping hand to local start-ups and make it easier for them to take on staff.
“Scotland was hit hard by Labour’s recession and is recovering more slowly than other parts of the UK. This is the kind of positive measure we need to build growth and create jobs, beyond London and the South East.”
