Commenting on the news that Dutch firm Ageon has warned of job losses in its UK life and pensions divisions, Liberal Democrat Finance spokesperson Jeremy Purvis said:

“This is very worrying news for all Ageon staff.

“I hope that the Scottish Government will activate the Financial Services Jobs Taskforce, to seek to provide the right support and advice for all affected staff.”
