The Liberal Democrat MSPs will be out and about in Edinburgh South with Westminster candidate Fred Mackintosh this evening.

Liberal Democrat Leader Tavish Scott said: 

“With just 405 votes between Labour and the Lib Dems in this seat we are fighting to win in Edinburgh South.

“Fred Mackintosh will be an outstanding voice for local people.

“I look forward to campaigning with him many times between now and the election.”

Commenting, Mr. Mackintosh added:

“I am delighted to be joined by the Liberal Democrat MSPs in Morningside this evening.

“Four fifths of Edinburgh South is also in Mike Pringle’s constituency for the Scottish Parliament.

“I am very confident that with the hard work of Mike and the other MSPs we will win here at the General Election.

“Without the personal vote for Nigel Griffiths, Labour will find it very difficult to hold on here.”
