Reacting to a report detailing the costs of alcohol abuse to Scotland, Liberal Democrat Justice spokesman Robert Brown MSP said:

“The Scottish Government would do far better to bring forward measures to tackle irresponsible promotions and selling below cost price.

“These will make a significant contribution to changing the cultural attitudes in Scotland.”
