Commenting on the SFHA’s warning that housing associations are facing a black hole in their budgets, Liberal Democrat Housing spokesperson Jamie Stone MSP said:

“SNP Ministers keep on boasting about their ‘record investment’ in affordable housing.

“But the money they’ve brought forward so far is accelerated funds that will have to be paid back.

“Instead of grandstanding and photo opportunities, we need answers from SNP Ministers about how they are going to resolve this potential black hole in housing association budgets.”
