Commenting on the tenth anniversary of devolution in Scotland, Leader of the Scottish Liberal Democrats Tavish Scott MSP said: “It’s wonderful to see so many children celebrating their birthdays with the Parliament.
“They are the first generation to grow up with a Scottish Parliament in 300 years and will benefit from the many great things we have achieved.

“From scrapping tuition fees to introducing the smoking ban, Liberal Democrats can be proud of what we have achieved for Scotland in the last ten years.
“My main concern, however, is not a party for politicians today to celebrate past successes. The job losses that have been announced on the west coast today and Lloyds yesterday show us that there is still a job of work to do over the next decade and beyond to ensure devolution continues to work for the people of Scotland.”
