Commenting after the publication of the Calman Commission’s final report, Scottish Liberal Democrat leader Tavish Scott MSP said:

“No party should stand in the way of change that will make a real difference to 290,000 business and over two million Scottish taxpayers.

“The Calman Commission’s report is a remarkable achievement. Its recommendations take us towards a real home rule Parliament.

“Politicians will no longer be able to get away with a shopping list, but will have to set out how they will pay for schools, hospitals, police and transport.

“The challenge now is for all parties to work towards making this blueprint a reality.”
