Commenting after joining Argyll and Bute MP Alan Reid at a series of meetings in Oban about freshwater rescue following the Loch Awe tragedy, Scottish Liberal Democrat leader Tavish Scott said:

“Everyone wants to help, but nobody has the responsibility.

“The Government must cut through all the regulations and help the Argyll community with not just a rescue boat, but with staff who can use it.”
