Still waiting for new economic measures from SNP - Purvis

Commenting ahead of the final vote on the Scottish Government’s Budget, Liberal Democrat Finance spokesperson Jeremy Purvis said:

“This Budget is a woefully inadequate response to what John Swinney himself described as an ‘economic storm engulfing Scotland’.

“Liberal Democrats have consistently argued for the radical change necessary to support Scotland through a recession. Despite the other parties performing all sorts of contortions over the last week, there are still no substantive new economic measures on the Government’s table.”
