Commenting on the BBC investigation into the death of 18 patients at the Vale of Leven Hospital from C. Difficile, Liberal Democrat Health spokesperson Ross Finnie said:

“The findings by the BBC prove, beyond any doubt, that there is no argument for not having a full public inquiry into C. Difficile. Such an inquiry should not be limited to the Vale at Leven hospital, but must cover the whole of Scotland.”
