Commenting on the report into why patient records were left in disused hospital buildings in Tayside, Ross Finnie, Liberal Democrat Health spokesperson said:

“This report has uncovered serious failings by NHS Tayside. It is a disgrace that this sensitive information was left out for anyone to see.

“Let’s not forget that Shona Robison knew about this situation for months before any action was taken.

“As Public Health Minister she should have realised the seriousness of this security breach and dealt with the matter urgently, through her ministerial office.”
