Commenting ahead of Gordon Brown’s announcement of measures to reinvigorate the housing market, Tavish Scott, Leader of the Liberal Democrats in Scotland said:

“It doesn’t matter how much Labour fiddles around, the housing market is burning.

“What needs to happen in Scotland is that new homes are built and available for people to rent. The Scottish Government should reverse its cuts to those budgets.”
