Commenting on the Expert Working Group on Infant Mental Health recommendation that the computer games culture could be harnessed to tackle teenage pregnancy, Liberal Democrat spokesperson for Young People Hugh O’Donnell said:

“Recent figures showed that soaring numbers of under 16s were falling pregnant. If experts believe that the current computer game culture can be harnessed to tackle teenage pregnancy, then the Scottish Government must explore this as an option.

“It’s really important that sex education is accessible to all young people. Computers may prove to be a useful mechanism in getting through to young people today.”
