Stephen Calls for New Powers for the Scottish Parliament

Responding to the latest poll about the union, Scottish Liberal Democrat Leader Nicol Stephen MSP has called for more powers for the Scottish Parliament.

“This poll has failed to ask about the option which is most popular with Scottish voters: the Liberal Democrat policy of giving more powers to the Scottish Parliament without separation.

“Securing more powers for the Scottish Parliament does not mean a separate state. It means a new, modern settlement for Scotland as part of the UK, based on more federal principles.”
